We are all heart struck by the tragedy in Burma, where thousands have perished in a natural disaster. Satellite images have captured the cyclone in action in a series of several images shot from above.

Amidst the turmoil, aid has been slow at best to reach those in need. Read the Asia Pacific NY Times news article Aid for Myanmar Mobilizes, Mixed With Criticism. There is talk of how the White House has answered the request for aid in Myanmar. Some are in favor of the US assistance, while others are upset that the US government criticized the Myanmar government prior to offering assistance. Bottom line is that we all have many emotions when thousands of lives are at stake, and tensions can run high. I hope we can deliver food and aid to the people in need in time.
