Google Earth’s Flight Simulator!
The latest Google Earth version has an awesome flight simulator built into it. Thats right, you might think we’re going crazy, but update your Google Earth and check it out! This feature that people had always dreamt about having on Google earth is finally here, and actually makes great use of Google’s awesome tool that is known as Google earth.
Things you could do with the great flight simulator:
- Control your airplane (There are two choices currently, an F16 and an SR22)
- Take off from International Airports (Thats true! You could take off from almost all the International airports almost as if you were flying a real airplane)
- Land on any International Airport (After you’re done flying you could land on any International airport too)
- Browse the scenery while flying
- Above all, simulate a great flight!
You must be wondering how are you going to get in? Since this is a hidden feature, what you’ll have to do is:
- Update Google Earth
- Start Google Earth
- Press Control + Alt + A
Then you’ll be going! But a good idea before going aboard would be to look at the official list of controls over here:

This flight simulator is not just another addon I must say, but I cannot explain it as well, you must check it out to see just how good it is, with all the places in the world cover, I don’t think a flight simulator could be any better. With a few improvements here and there, Google Earth could well have the best flight simulator of our times!
Enjoy this feature, and post your comments!
